Product Objectives

1. At the end of six weeks of full implementation of a computer-based Homework Hotline system, 80% of the Wolf Park Middle School students will show a 20% increase in student-completed homework as measured by parent and teacher checklist.

2. By the end of sixty days of the activation of the Homework Hotline, 50% of the Wolf Park Middle School Parents will increase their attendance to school functions by 25% as measured by attendance rosters at each of the ten school events.

3. During the next school year, at least 50% of all parents will increase their involvement in their child's learning process through teacher-generated weekly contacts that will raise their awareness of available resources through the monthly distribution of support materials.

4. Seventy-five percent of the staff will demonstrate a greater working knowledge of special education laws, SBH characteristics, IEP procedures, and available teaching resources as measured by surveys given at the beginning and end of the school year.

Think About:

Look carefully at the four examples of product objectives written above. Some are constructed better than others. How might you change one or more of the objectives to better fit the guidelines of a product objective?
